Pamela Cipriano, PhD, RN, NEA-BC, has been chosen to participate in the 2010-2011 Institute of Medicine (IOM) Nurse Scholar-in-Residence Program, sponsored by the American Academy of Nurses (AAN), American Nurses Association (ANA), and the American Nurses Foundation (ANF). She will study the impact of Health Information Technologies (HIT) on nursing workflow, patient safety and outcomes as well as identify the characteristics necessary to achieve team-based care with multiple disciplinary use of electronic health information.
