In Memory of Mary Elizabeth Carnegie, DPA, MA RN
Mary Elizabeth Carnegie, DPA, MA, RN passed away on February 20, 2008. Her leadership in nursing and pioneering mentorship of nurse researchers and Ethnic Minority Nurse Fellows epitomizes the vision of the American Nurses Foundation (ANF) nursing research grants program. The American Nurses Foundation is so pleased to be home to the Mary Elizabeth Carnegie, DPA, MA, RN nursing research grant that has been awarded through the ANF Nursing Research Grants Program. Donations are always accepted in support of the Carnegie Endowment, and especially now in memory of Dr. Carnegie’s life and in continuation of her life’s work.
