Programs supported by donations in the past include:
ANA began a national effort in coordination with the VA and DoD to train nurses to understand the needs of those who have served, to recognize the warning signs of PTSD, depression, or suicide; and know where to send veterans and their families for help.
ANF was one of 14 nurse organizations to send vital financial support to Haiti nurses and l’Association Nationale des Infirmières Licenciées d’Haïti through the International Council of Nurses.
The ANF has received a grant to educate registered nurses and patients on the health effects of sleeping disorders caused or exacerbated by shift work.
