Institute of Medicine Scholar-in-Residence



 
ANF’s impact is seen in the research of the Scholars who have been awarded the American Nurses Foundation/American Accademy of Nursing/Institute of Medicine Scholar-in-Residence grant. This Scholar-in-Residence program provides a yearlong leadership opportunity in health policy at the Institute of Medicine (IOM), The National Academies. The American Academy of Nursing (AAN) and the American Nurses Foundation (ANF) in partnership with the IOM support this program. It is designed as an immersion experience to facilitate nurse leaders engaging in a prominent role in health policy development at the national level. Donations to the ANF Annual Fund supports this program and the mission of ANF.

The American Academy of Nursing/American Nursing Foundation/Institue of Medicine Scholarship assist outstanding nurse leaders to play a more prominent role in health policy development at the national level.
